These hydraulic guillotine shears from the KHT M NC series are designed as a swing-cut construction. With this design, the cutter bar is guided in a pivot bearing anchored in the machine body and thus cuts very straight without the risk of the upper and lower cutters jamming. The robust and precisely working back gauge is precisely positioned via the ESTUN 21 NC control.

Machine frame

• The machine frame is a heavy-duty, stress-relieved, swing-section welded steel construction
• With this design, the cutter bar moves in a pivoting movement, which increases the distance between the upper and lower cutters again after the cut
• The advantages of this construction are the low-torsion cuts, a more reliable release of the blank, the improved service life of the knives and their simple adjustment of the cutting gap

Material support

• The large work table with ball rollers and the stable, adjustable angle stop enables easy handling and safe alignment of the sheet metal
• Long and robust support arms give large boards a secure hold

Hydraulic system

• The entire hydraulic system is reliable, low-maintenance and easy to service
• The hold-down devices, which can be hydraulically controlled in terms of pressure, hold the metal sheet in place during the cut just in front of the cutting line

Back gauge

• The back gauge system is particularly robust and can cope with tough everyday production
• The ball screws are mounted protected

Furnishing

• The easy-to-use ESTUN 21 NC control positions the backgauge precisely in a single cut or in the program sequence
• The machine is operated using the mobile foot pedal unit with an emergency stop switch
• The exact cutting line is visible as a silhouette on the metal sheet
• Upper and lower knives are suitable for processing stainless steel

Security

• The full length finger guard folds down to 1000mm to give a better view of the cutting line
• The safety concept is based on the latest CE regulations
