The Clarke MIG270DV MULTI Dual Voltage Welder is a high quality, multi-functional product that combines MIG, MMA, TIG processes and dual voltage into a single welder. The welder is ideal for garage, bodyshop and professional workshop welding using the 230V setting, whilst the 400V capacity of the welder makes this product suitable for industrial use, such as vehicle fabrication and professional repairs. Weighing 37kg, the MIG270DV MULTI comes with convenient handles and rear wheels for simple manoeuvrability.
Providing great versatility, the MIG270DV MULTI Dual Voltage Welder is able to weld 0.8mm, 0.9mm and 1.0mm mild steel/stainless steel, as well as 1.0mm and 1.2mm aluminium wire. This welder can output 10 - 270 Amps, dependent on type of welding and voltage, with an input of 230V ~ 50Hz - 1 Phase and 400V ~ 50Hz - 3 Phase.
The Clarke MIG270 MULTI Dual Voltage is able to weld steel with a material thickness range of 1 -12mm (MIG), 1-15mm (MMA) and 1 - 5mm (TIG). It is also supplied with a 3m MMA torch cable, offering greater operating range.
This welder comes with bare wire ends and should be connected to a 230V/400V supply by a qualified electrician.
The MIG270 MULTI Dual Voltage features efficient inverter technology that has a high switching frequency, making the unit more efficient than traditional non-inverter transformer-type welders, leading to better thermal control and better appearance of welds. It also benefits from turbo fan cooling for prolonged welding and greater efficiency.
