- Base, column, boom and gear head are made of high-quality cast iron
- Key design features are the large column and the particularly torsionally rigid boom
- The height of the boom is adjusted via a powerful, motorised drive and lifting spindle
- The boom jack runs in an oil bath and works reliably and with low wear
- The swivel and traversing axes are characterized by extremely smooth running and relieve the operator in everyday production
- A central lubrication system reliably supplies the column with lubricant
- The drilling depth is set electronically and the input value is checked by the system
- The unit of measurement of the inputs and displays can be chosen between mm and inch
- The powerful coolant device is activated on the touchscreen and then switched on or off depending on the main spindle
- The machine has 2 gear stages in which the speed can be infinitely regulated and displayed on the monitor
- A servo motor continuously controls the quill feed - when the feed has reached the preselected drilling depth, the quill automatically returns to the starting position
- Threading, on the other hand, is carried out purely manually, with the operator changing the direction of quill rotation when the thread depth is reached
- The position of the boom in height can be carried out by the operator by touching the corresponding icon, whereby the system automatically releases and fixes the hydraulic clamping, switches the hoisting motor and takes into account the set end stops
- The drill head and column can be clamped or loosened together or separately
- The boom can be moved in height without losing the alignment of the spindle with the hole
- The control software also provides recommendations for speed and feed, depending on the desired drill size
- Various alarm displays warn the operator of operating errors or indicate the operating status
- With this model, the automatic thread cutting function can also be activated on the touchscreen
- Depending on the tap size, the appropriate pitch and recommended speed are automatically taken from the internal database
- The threading process is carried out with automatic feed
- The spindle speed is synchronized with the thread pitch and the depth stop now limits the thread depth
- Once the preselected depth has been reached, the spindle changes the direction of rotation and the quill automatically returns to the starting position
