The 4 stroke, forced cooled engine is both economical and eco-friendly, featuring an Eco (Low Idle) switch which automatically adjusts the engine speed and fuel consumption to match the load that is running, giving greater fuel efficiency and reducing noise levels. The Eco switch not only reduces unnecessary strain on the engine and therefore increasing its lifespan, but can also increase running time off of a single tank of fuel.

The IG8000 also benefits from remote control, allowing for hands free starting of the generator.
